THE ORIGIN

Born in 1993 and held as a road gran fondo.

The last edition took place in 2005.

"Since then it has remained a memory for many enthusiasts, an echo of chains and asphalt resonating through the Umbrian valleys."

// RELOADED

But in 2025
it returned

With a completely renewed formula. No longer a competitive race, but a permanent cycle tourism route.

  • Any bike: E-bike, MTB, Gravel, Road (Bikepacking Wild)
  • From May 1st to September 30th
New Format
“People had been asking us for news about the event for a long time and if we would bring it back; let's just say the conditions were never right, but in 2025 we decided to try with a new formula”.

A GREAT CHAMPION,
A LIFE FOR CYCLING

The “Tre Passi Umbri 2026” will be named after Michele Scarponi, a symbol of passion, sacrifice, and authentic love for the bicycle.

A highly valued professional and winner of the 2011 Giro d'Italia, Michele stood out not only for his sporting achievements but also for the human values he always conveyed: loyalty, simplicity, and team spirit.

"A rightful tribute to a great man and a great cyclist, who will continue to live on in the memory of those who love this sport."
